Single economic crime force is no panacea, say experts

A cross-disciplinary group of experts convened by the Centre for Financial Crime and Security Studies at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) has debunked the widespread belief that the ideal response to fraud is led by a single economic crime force, writes Esther Martin. The group of experts from operational policing, academia and civil society have been putting their heads together since May 2022 to come up with a blueprint for the future and have so far established “some clear principles for reform”.
