Liability Underwriters Group annual conference

4–6 September • Queen’s College, Cambridge • Unforeseen exposures faced by the liability insurance market continue to manifest themselves, many in a disastrous form. As these are identified, interesting legal issues arise in seeking to allocate the cost for the injuries and damage. The conference seeks to establish a greater understanding of these risks and the legal issues, and questions whether present methods of underwriting them and handling the claims that arise are appropriate.
