London Arbitration 22/22

Arbitration – Defence submissions – Failure to cooperate

Following the declaratory award in which the arbitrator held that he had jurisdiction over claims by the owner for damages (see London Arbitration 21/22) , against which there had been no appeal, the owner asked the charterer to serve defence submissions. No response was received.
