Pollen tracking
Canadian air quality measurement company AirZone has developed a means of tracking tiny grains of pollen from genetically
modified (GM) farm crops as they drift over wide areas to non-GM crops. A reengineering of an existing technology, this can
remove much of the uncertainty over whether or not a nonbiotech crop has been contaminated from GM crops. This can be of assistance
to food manufacturers and distributors, in their compliance with labelling requirements, and to insurers facing contamination
claims.
