Damages quantification by English law

Determining a preliminary issue in a claim arising from a road accident in Greece, it was held that while the applicable law (under section 11 of the Private International Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1995) was that of Greece, procedural law was that of the English court. As such, assessment of general damages was to be made by reference to English law.
