Charterparty – Electrical fault in vessel – Whether vessel off hire – Whether owners in repudiatory breach

The claimants chartered a vessel from the respondent owners to perform offshore services in connection with oil installations off a West African coast. The vessel was delivered on 1 June. On 4 and 9 June, the charterers exercised options they were given by the charter to extend the period of service by five days in each case, and paid hire appropriately.
