FCA warns against misleading credit promotions as it predicts increase in loan applications

Brokersand lenders are being warned by the regulator against using “misleading” termsin their advertising — including ‘no
credit check loans’, ‘loan guaranteed’, ‘pre-approved’or ‘no credit checks’. Two firms have recently agreed to remove such
terms fromtheir ads.
