Sexual harassment

Sexual harassment on public transport on the increase

Reports of sexual harassment on public transport increased by 63 per cent between April and October 2021 compared to the same period two years earlier (pre-pandemic). British Transport Police (BTP) received 421 reports of harassment in the period, up from 259 over the same period in 2019.
