Johnson & Johnson in US$263 million opioid settlement with State of New York

Johnson & Johnson and its US-based Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies have revealed a US$263 million settlement agreement with the State of New York and its participating subdivisions, including Nassau County and Suffolk County, resolving their opioid-related claims against the company. With this agreement, the company said it had been removed from the trial that had been scheduled to begin at the end of June.
