Cargo insurance and expenses arising during the period of delay

Introduction

4.1 This chapter analyses the recoverability of general average expenses that arise during the period of delay that shall be contributed to by the cargo interests; sue and labour charges arising in preventing or minimising a loss by delay and expenses incurred in forwarding the goods so as to prevent a delay in transit or in delivery.
