“Flawed methodology” of proposed tariff of damages for whiplash injuries

The government’s proposed tariff of damages for whiplash injuries is “fundamentally flawed, arbitrary and wholly unjust”, according to the Motor Accident Solicitors Society (MASS). It is urgently calling for a fundamental review of the government’s proposed tariff of damages following a submission to the Lord Chief Justice ahead of the planned implementation of the “whiplash” reforms in April 2021.
