Tribunal in highest ever costs award against ex-employee

An employment tribunal has awarded £432,000 in legal costs in what is thought to be the highest ever costs award against an ex-employee. According to DAC Beachcroft, the employee, who was made redundant, brought claims of unfair dismissal, automatic unfair dismissal, age discrimination, race discrimination, discrimination because of sexual orientation, victimisation, harassment, whistleblowing detriment and unlawful deductions from wages.
