Home workers need to be own risk manager
Work-related injuries are on the rise even at home, as a result of more people working remotely, according to Willis Towers
Watson. In a US blog entitled “Working from home can be more than a pain in the neck”, Eric M Kenned, SVP, chief vitality
officer, integrated casualty consulting, Willis Towers Watson, said: “All around the world, former corporate office dwellers
are home working at the dining room table, sitting on their sofas and sprawled on couches. Our bodies are feeling the change
and soon our workers’ compensation claims may feel it too”.
