£1.6mn for sacked hospital consultant
A hospital consultant has been awarded more than £1.6mn compensation for unfair dismissal and racial discrimination. The consultant
obstetrician was sacked in 1998. The Trust was ordered to reinstate her to her position. She left her job this year after
experiencing delays in reskilling procedures.
