G4S to pay UK£44m but escapes prosecution for defrauding UK Ministry of Justice

The fact that G4S, a security firm that had the job of electronically tagging offenders, has itself escaped prosecution for defrauding the UK Ministry of Justice is perhaps ironic, writes Aziz Rahman of Rahman Ravelli. But G4S not being prosecuted for repeatedly lying to the government in order to boost profits is arguably more alarming than wryc.
