UK cyber security breaches on the rise – even before COVID-19 struck

Businesses have, in 2020 and 2019, been experiencing more frequent cyber breaches or attacks than they were in 2017, according to the British government’s official Cyber Security Breaches Survey 2020 [1], with 32% of businesses (compared to 22% in 2017) and 22% of charities that reported attacks experiencing these issues at least once a week in 2020 and 2019.
