Supervision programmes thinned down as Bank takes emergency measures

The Bank of England and Prudential Regulation Authority have announced a series of emergency steps that will reduce the burden on banks and financial market infrastructures — in order to enable regulated firms to “maintain their safety and soundness and deliver the critical functions they provide to the economy”.
