EU outlines draft for financial services concord in skeleton Brexit agreement

The European Union has published a draft outline legal agreement, including numerous sections that relate to financial services. The draft would form the basis of ‘the future EU-UK partnership’ (in line with the United Kingdom-EU Political Declaration agreed in October 2019). But the Covid-19 crisis is holding up negotiations — and negotiators on both sides are considering using video conferencing.
