Insurers must be “flexible” over coronavirus-related contracts and claims

Insurers are instructed to “show flexibility” in their treatment of customers who could, in greater numbers, be defined as vulnerable. The FCA has spelled out particular issues regarding travel cover, motor and home, private medical, product suspension, renewals, mid-term adjustments and its expectations of brokers.
