Italy issues first fine for whistleblower retaliation

The Italian NationalAnti-Corruption Authority (ANAC - Autorità Nazionale Anticorruzione) has issued a fine for retaliatory measures against a whistleblower, nearly 10 months after Italy’s whistleblower protection legislation took effect on 29 December 2018.
