FCA visits pensions firms where 75 per cent of clients advised to make DB transfers

The FCA has begun a programme of visits to the pensions firms that are carrying out the highest numbers of Defined Benefit (DB) transfers. Following an information-gathering exercise with over 3,000 firms in this sector, the regulator will also be writing to those whose data indicated “the potential for harm”.
