Contract – Shipbuilding contract – Buyer cancelling contract for delay in delivery exceeding 210 days – Seller contending that delivery date had been extended and that buyer’s cancellation constituted renunciation of contract – Whether delivery date extended – Whether contract validly cancelled by buyer

Theclaimant seller agreed to build and deliver a bulk carrier to the respondent buyer. The vessel was to be delivered on 31 March 2016, that date being the agreed “Delivery Date” in article VII.2 of the contract.
