An arbitrationarose out of the loss of the cargo being carried on the barge Labhauler in March 2007, which was owned by the claimants (the assured). The barge was being towed by a tug on a voyage from St Martin in the Caribbean to Newfoundland with a cargo of scrap crushed motor vehicles, together with some other equipment.
