Tomorrow’s world of AML

Recently, writes Sue Grossey, I watched an interview with the comedian Dylan Moran –you may know him as the reluctant and irascible bookseller in “Black Books” – in which he warned that, with advances in automation and robotics, it’s highly likely that by next Thursday we will all have been replaced by apps. Although I doubt that any app could make me laugh as much as Mr Moran, I have to admit that when it comes to my own line of work, this outcome is looking increasingly possible. And so, in the manner of one daring to peek into the abyss, I will spend the next couple of pages exploring the latest developments in AML technology.
