The interpretation of contracts: A review of recent cases

There have been a number of cases (many of which do not involve construction contracts) in which the courts have been called upon to restate, or to consider aspects of, the law relating to the interpretation or construction of contracts. Given that so many construction disputes turn on matters of interpretation, a review of the leading cases is timely.
