Revisionary – 5MLD, a work in progress

MEPs continue furiously (in the sense of busily, but then again…) amending the draft of the directive that amends the freshly minted Fourth ML Directive (4MLD) [1] – the so-called 5MLD [2] – ahead of expected implementation of both on 26 June 2017. In January, the European Parliament’s Committee on Legal Affairs (CLE) published its latest opinion [3], which advances some marked changes to the current text.
