Charterparty – Redelivery – Charterers purporting to redeliver vessel prior to contractual delivery time – Whether vessel in fact redelivered to owners

The subject vessel was time-chartered on a Baltime form as amended dated 12 June for a period of 100 days, up to five days more in charterers’ option. A dispute arose as to when the vessel was redelivered. Box 21 and clause 7 of the charter provided for redelivery on expiration of the charter at Cesme, Turkey, at dropping the outward pilot.
