ENFORCEMENT OF MARITIME CLAIMS

1 INTRODUCTION

A list of maritime claims that are within the jurisdiction of the Admiralty Court are found in s 20 of the Senior Courts Act (SCA) 1981. Had the Arrest Convention 1999 been enacted by the UK,1 it would have enlarged the list of claims and maritime liens that could be enforced in the Admiralty Court.
