Electronic Communications Code – it affects landlords and their premises – Law Commission Review

The current code, the Telecommunications Code (the Code), is set out in Sch 2 to the Telecommunications Act 1984. The Code gives quite significant rights to certain operators to execute any works on land for or in connection with the installation, maintenance, adjustment, repair or alteration of electronic communications apparatus, to keep apparatus installed on, under or over that land and to enter land to inspect its apparatus.
