Climate change forecasts increase economic losses

A scenario of high climate change could increase related catastrophe losses by up to 200% over the next 20 years

Climate risks could absorb up to 19% of countries’ gross domestic product by the year 2030, warned a report from the Economics of Climate Adaptation Working Group. Developing countries are expected to be more vulnerable to the changes.
