Insurers’ direct debit interest charges under fire

New report suggests that practise by car insurance providers in the UK to charge interest on monthly repayments of car insurance premiums may not be sustainable in the long term

According to the latest report from the Automobile Association (AA) some car insurers are charging an annual percentage rate of around 25% for monthly direct debit payments of premiums.
