The People’s Republic of China (“PRC”) is becoming an increasingly important force in the global economy. Like many other industries, the reinsurance industry is conducting an increasing amount of business in the PRC. In this chapter we provide an overview of PRC (re)insurance law and regulation and dispute resolution through the PRC courts and arbitration.
