Berrymans Lace Mawer appoints new partner

Law firm Berrymans Lace Mawer (BLM) has appointed Nick Thorne to its catastrophic injury division in Manchester. He joined the firm as a partner from Halliwells. According to BLM, his appointment is part of the continuing strategic growth of its catastrophic injury group. Thorne has more than 13 years experience in defending personal injury actions and dealing with claims of the utmost severity on behalf of insurer clients. He specialises in claims relating to road traffic accidents, employers’ liability and public liability.
