£115,000 in damages over mesothelioma

A widow has received £115,000 in compensation after her husband died of mesothelioma. The woman received the damages after her electrician husband died just three weeks after being diagnosed with the disease. The man was exposed to asbestos in the late 1940s and early 1950s while working at a carriage works. He was also exposed to asbestos during the 1960s while working for another company.
