Bike injury led to stroke

A man who was knocked off his bike by a road sweeper and then suffered a stroke has secured over £200,000 in compensation. He suffered injury to the back of his head and severe bruising to the back of his body. A CT scan on his brain confirmed that he had suffered a stroke at the site of the accident. The defendant in the case was the firm who operated the road sweeping equipment.
