Noise induced hearing loss claim

A man worked as a baker between 1980 and 2005 and was exposed to excessively loud noise without hearing protection has won £5,000 plus costs. The man suffers with noise induced hearing loss and with some tinnitus. He was not provided with any form of hearing protection until approximately 2003. His employer admitted liability and the claim was settled pre-issue of proceedings.
