Carriage of goods by sea - Whether deviation to take on bunkers for next voyage unreasonable

The vessel Cepheus was chartered on the Asbatankvoy form for the carriage of a cargo of petroleum products from the Caribbean to one or two safe ports U.S. West Coast including Alaska (Los Angeles - Anchorage range). The vessel loaded at Freeport on 27 December 1983. The discharge port was to be Anchorage.
