Cargo claim based on alleged theft by shipowners - Whether claim subject to Hague-Visby Rules time limit

A cargo of crude oil was carried on board the vessel Captain Gregos from Egypt to Rotterdam under a bill of lading governed by the Hague-Visby Rules. The one year time limit for commencing suit under Article III, Rule 6 expired on 17 June 1985.
