Delay in loading caused by cleaning of holds after rejection by grain inspectors - Whether vessel off-hire
The vessel was time chartered on the N.Y.P.E. form. The charterers ordered the ship to proceed to Houston, emphasizing that
the holds had to be perfectly clean and ready for loading grain. After the vessel’s arrival at Houston local grain inspectors
boarded the ship and rejected her. For various reasons, there was then a fifteen day delay before the vessel was accepted
by the inspectors.
