Time charter - Delay caused by bad stowage - Whether owners liable for stevedores’ negligence - Whether “due diligence” in making ship seaworthy to be exercised before start of each voyage

The vessel was chartered on the N.Y.P.E. form. During loading the vessel was delayed (as the arbitrators found) as a result of bad stowage caused by negligence of the stevedores and a failure by the master and officers to exercise a proper and adequate degree of supervision over the way the work was done.
