Charterparty - When notice of readiness validly tendered

The vessel was chartered under the Asbatankvoy form for the carriage of a cargo of fuel oil, having previously carried cargoes of crude. One of the issues in the arbitration concerned the commencement of laytime. The parties had agreed that time was to count as soon as the owners gave a valid notice of readiness.
