Whether time charterers liable for unsafety of port

The vessel was chartered on the Baltime form to trade “between good and safe ports or places where she can safely lie always afloat”. Those words were then qualified in typescript by the words “but vessel will be used for liner traffic [and then followed three named ports/countries]. Typewritten clause 42 of the charter said:
