France OVERVIEW The legislative framework for international commercial arbitration in France is set out in Articles 2059–2061 of the Civil Code and Articles 1492–1507 of the New Code of Civil Procedure. Although the UNCITRAL Model Law has not been adopted in France, the law, insofar as it relates to international arbitration, is similar.
