The claimant alleged that his liner shipping company was put out of business as a result of the defendant Conference members abusing their dominant position and adopting predatory pricing policies. The claimant alleged that his company's collapse was caused by the defendants' breaches of articles 82 and 81 of the Treaty of Rome.
