A demurrage dispute between V Corp and Redi Corporation was referred to arbitration in England. The arbitrator issued an award
and costs to V Corp totalling US$78,577.31. On 22 January 2004 the English High Court issued an order to enforce the arbitral
award "in the same manner as a judgment or order to the same effect" and authorised V Corp "to enter judgment in terms of
the said award". There was no objection by Redi Corp within the 22-day notice period within which it could object.
