Time charter - Charterers alleging that ship's cranes operated slowly during discharging - Whether owners in breach of charter - Whether vessel off-hire

The vessel was chartered on an amended NYPE form. The charterers complained that the ship's cranes operated slowly during the course of discharging, and that in consequence time was lost and they suffered other financial consequences. The charterers put their case as one of breach and/or off-hire. The charterparty provided:
