The vessel was under construction when she was chartered by disponent owners to the charterers on the NYPE form as amended for a period of minimum 15/17 months in charterers’ option. The standard NYPE form was the subject of many detailed amendments, and was followed by 28 pages of additional clauses numbered up to 77 and by the usual Both-to-Blame, GA and similar clauses.
