Arrest of vessel in relation to claims against alleged sisterships - Whether arrested vessel beneficially owned by the person who was the owner of the alleged sisterships

The plaintiff cargo interests arrested the vessel Looiersgracht in relation to alleged damage to cargo carried not only on the Looiersgracht but also on five alleged “sisterships”. The defendant shipowners accepted that there was a prima facie claim against the Looiersgracht for damage to cargo carried on board her. The issue was whether the security to be posted should include security for alleged damage to cargo carried on the five other vessels.
