P&I cover for cargo claims
11.1 P&I clubs provide their members with a range of insurance covers, and a core element of mutual poolable P&I cover is an indemnity against exposure to cargo claims. There is also protection against certain out-of-pocket expenses relating to cargo which are incurred by the club’s member.
