Introduction

18–001 Productivity is the measure of work which can be performed by a given resource. Where the works are planned by reference to the resources and productivity they are planned to achieve, identifying lost productivity (productivity fallen below of what was planned), is quite simple. In the absence of a fully resourced programme however, identifying lost productivity caused by disruption to the resources and work in progress can be far from straightforward.
